Howard Childs is a fine art and special events photographer based in New York City. He is known for his ability to understand and connect with the people and cultures he is hired to document.

With over 17 years of experience working across nine countries, Howard developed a distinctive approach to capturing meaningful moments. His work is recognized for its rich use of color and emotionally resonant portraits that leave a lasting impression on viewers.

The artist’s photographs have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions in New York and Hiroshima, Japan. Howard’s portraits are collected worldwide. He has lectured internationally on photography and much of his work has been published in books and other media.

For four years, Howard served as the in-house event photographer for Hermès of Paris, Inc. His expertise and dedication later led to a position with the James Beard Foundation, where he photographed more than 2,000 of the world’s leading chefs.
